This newest music video is directed by David Dobkin ( Wedding Crashers, Shanghi Knights, The Change-Up), who previously helmed Maroon 5's 2015 music video for "Sugar" (which, subsequently, was so popular that it inspired a TV pilot) and their 2016 music video for "Don't Wanna Know. The camera opens on an extreme close-up of the Maroon 5 frontman, before slowly panning out. It also spotlights an appearance from Adam Levine's wife, Behati Prinsloo, and their 1-year-old daughter, Dusty Rose. Dobkin also helmed the bands clips for 'Sugar,' 'Dont Wanna Know' and 'Girls Like You.' The minimalist visual features a stripped-down emotional performance of the song by Adam Levine. The song peaked at number one on the Hot 100 chart for seven weeks, becoming Maroon 5s fourth and Cardi Bs third number-one. It was the first single from the re-release of the album and the most successful single. The video is filmed in spacious empty studio, with a spinning camera welcoming and exiting the revolving door of well-known ladies - a mix of actresses, musicians, athletes and politicians - featured in the music video. A remix version of 'Girls Like You' featuring Cardi B served as the fifth and final single and was released on May 30, 2018. That's a whole bunch of cameos for one four-minute music video, and they were wise not to have anything else steal the attention. Included in this new Maroon 5 music video (and forgive us if we forget anyone) are Cardi B (who is also featured in the song), Elizabeth Banks, Lily Singh, Camila Cabello, Rita Ora, Sarah Silverman, Ashley Graham, Chloe Kim, Danica Patrick, Ilham Omar and Aly Raisman.
